Ingredients 
 

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices
  • ¼ cup black olives sliced
  • ¼ cup roasted peppers
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Lightly brush the skillet with olive oil or cooking spray.

  • Add the uncooked tortellini to the prepared skillet, then pour the marinara sauce and water to cover them. Do not stir but use a spatula to distribute the sauce and make sure all tortellini are covered.

    2 cups marinara sauce
    ½ cup water
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce. Arrange the pepperoni slices, black olives, and roasted peppers on top.

  • Pop the skillet into the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown and the tortellini are cooked through.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
